Take 3/4 cup rice..Cleaned n dried
Prepare pcs Assorted chicken
Get 2 bunch spinach
Prepare 2 onions
Prepare 2 tomatoes
Make ready 1 bunch dhania
Prepare 1 pc carrot
Take 1/2 pc courgett
Take Cooking oil
Get Salt
Make ready 1 tsp tumeric powder. Can as well do fresh tumeric
Get 1 satchet or 1 tsp black pepper
Make ready Grated garlic n ginger…For marinade
Prepare 2 tbsp soy sauce….For marinade
Take Rosemary herbs…..For marinade
Instructions to make Steamed Tumeric Rice,pan grilled chicken, Fried spinach and Mixed Vegetable gravy:
Chicken Marinade. In a clean bowl, add your grated garlic n ginger, soy sauce, salt to taste, 1 tsp cooking oil n Rosemary herbs. Mix them all together then clean your chicken n put it in the marinade. Give it a good mix then cover it well n keep it in the fridge for 3-4 hrs. For better results prepare aday before.
For rice, bring water to boil. Add salt, tumeric powder, very little cooking oil. Once boiled add in your rice, mix well then reduce the heat. Cook till ready. Prepare your vegetables for garnishing the rice. Carrot, courgett n onions. Chop n dice them accordingly. Once your rice is almost ready, add in your vegs n mix well. Put off the heat n cover your rice as you prepare your spinach.
Prepare your spinach by chopping them n onions.
In a frying pan, add some cooking oil, let it heat then add your onions. Let it brown abit. Add salt n spinach n fry for 10 mins.
For Chicken. By this time your chicken is well marinated. Heat your frying pan a bit. Add in your chicken n grill it in low heat as you turn it till ready n golden brown. Add in some chopped onions n tomatoes then put off the heat. Can as well use the oven.
For Vegetable gravy, fry onions, blended tomatoes, grated garlic n ginger n 1 pc of potato for thickening. Bring them to boil, blend them then season with abit of black pepper. Garnish with dhania.
