  1. Cut carrots and cook in oil on medium heat until soft
  2. Add garlic, onion and pepper and cook until soft and onions transparent
  3. Add the lentils, spice and water and cook over medium heat until the lentils are cooked through
  4. Once lentils are cooked spoon out a mini portion for the babies
  5. Add stock and greens to the adult portion
  6. Add water to the baby portion and cook until mushy. Here I added peas to add some more protein.
  7. Once happy with the baby portion, let it cool and blend with baby milk of choice
  8. For adults portion cook until stock is incorporated and the greens wilted
  9. Note on storage. For baby food mixed with breast milk this can be kept in the fridge for 3 days from when the milk was pumped and 6 months in the freezer. For formula follow your providers instructions.
