The ingredients needed to make Almond Shake:
Make ready milk
Make ready Almonds (soaked)
Make ready Almond flakes
Take few strings of saffron
Prepare mawa / khoya
Take sugar
Get cardamom powder
Prepare Some pista, almond flakes and saffron for garnishing
Instructions to make Almond Shake:
First Soak almonds in water for atleast 2 - 3 hours. add in blender jar and blend to coarse paste.(you can remove it's skin,I didn't remove, it's optional)
In a pan add milk and bring it to a boil. reduce the heat.add saffron to the boiling milk and stir.
Add almond paste and cook for 2 -3 mins.
Now add roasted mawa (roast mawa for few mins. in separate pan before adding in milk)and stir continuously otherwise it may stick at the bottom.
When milk mixture becomes little thick add sugar,cardamom powder and almond flakes. cook for few more mins.switch off the heat and let it cool at the room temperature first and then keep it in refrigerator to cool completely.
Delicious and Richy almond shake is ready.garnish with some almond and pista flakes.serve cool.
