Steps to make Southern Breakfast for Dinner:
  1. Preheat oven 400 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Mix the salt flour buttermilk and oil and form a giant dough ball
  3. Grease and flour a heated skillet
  4. Form 7 biscuits and put into the skillet. Put into oven for 15 minutes. When done set aside with a towel on top.
  5. Boil the water add the grits as its boiling stirring constantly leave NO lumps
  6. Add butter after boiling and stirring for 10 minutes.
  7. Shred the cheese
  8. Add cheese and cover off the heat
  9. Heat oil in skillet and dice the potatoes don't peel them. Add diced onions
  10. Bread and season the cubed pork
  11. Fry the potatoes till done and add 1/4 cup water cover and let steam.
  12. Fry the chops till done and set aside. Remove most of the oil except 1/3 cup leave it in the skillet for the tomato gravy
  13. Fry the onion in the oil and skillet you fried the chops in
  14. Add the tomato to the onions season and add the flour
  15. Simmer stirring occasionally and taste, if a little salty you got it right, set aside.
  16. Mix the buttermilk, flour, and sugar make a batter pour on the hot skillet and cook them as you would regular pancakes. These will be small ones
  17. Heat the Canadian bacon. Cook the eggs I scrambled these.
  18. Plate serve I hope you enjoy!! The pork chops can be substituted with steak, fish, or chicken.
  19. When you done cooking and eating this it's time to sit on the front porch with your feet propped up sipping iced tea!!
  20. Oh the tomato gravy goes on top of the grits!
