  1. Make ready bread slices
  2. Take sooji (semolina)
  3. Take onion, chopped
  4. Prepare ginger, grated
  5. Take green chilies, chopped

  7. Get red chilli flakes
  8. Prepare coriander stems, chopped
  9. Take salt
  10. Get turmeric powder
  11. Take garam masala powder
  12. Get yoghurt as required

Instructions to make Semolina French Toast:
  1. In a bowl, mix together all the above mentioned ingredients starting from sooji to garam masala.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp. oil and temper with mustard seeds and asafoetida. Allow it to splutter and then pour this tempering over the semolina mix. Combine everything well into a thick batter. Keep it aside for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Spread 1/4 of the batter on each bread.
  4. Heat 1 tbsp, oil in a griddle / tawa and shallow fry the batter side first on a medium flame for a minute or two till it turns light golden in colour.
  5. Flip it over and fry the other side too. Transfer to a serving plate. Fry rest of the bread in the similar way with the semolina spread.
  6. Cut them as desired and enjoy for breakfast or as a tea-time snack or with green chutney / ketchup.
