4. Pour the cake batter in your pan and bake it on 180°C for 20 to 30 minutes until done.
5. Spook a skewer in cake to check if it comes out clean. If it comes out clean, your cake is done.
6. Now let the pan cool down before inverting the cake on a cooling rack.
7. Invert your cake on a cooling rack and let it cool down conpletely.
8. Prepare apricot sauce. In a pan put apricot jam and water together. Cook until it reaches the required consistency. Cool it down a bit and then pour over your almond cake.
